MUTTON ROGAN JOSH


Prep Time  : 30 mins
Cooking Time  : 60 mins
Serve  :  2

INGREDIENTS
Mutton  -  500 gms
Finely chopped onion  -  3
Ginger garlic paste  -  1 tbsp
Cloves  -  3 -4
Cinnamon  -  1 inch stick
Green cardamom  -  2 - 3
Black cardamom  -  1
Bay leaf  -  1 - 2
Curd  -  1/2 cup
Coriander powder  -  1 tsp
Red chilly powder  -  1 tbsp
Kashmiri mirch powder  -  1 tsp
Turmeric powder  -  1/2 tsp
Salt  -  to taste
Clarified butter  -  2 tbsp
Oil  -  4 tbsp
Chopped coriander leaves  -  1 tbsp

METHOD
Heat clarified but and oil in a pan.
Add bay leaf and whole garam masala to crackle.
Add onion and fry till light brown.
Add mutton pieces and saute on high heat for five mins.
Add ginger garlic paste,coriander powder,red chilly powder,kashmiri mirch powder,turmeric powder and saute for five mins in a medium flame.
Whisk the curd and m ix well.
Add 2 cup of water and simmer the flame.
Cover and cook till mutton is done.
Stir occasionally and add some water.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot.
