INGREDIENTS
Amla / gooseberry - 250 gms
Sugar - 250 gms
Roasted cumin seeds powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp
METHOD
Wash and grate gooseberry / amla.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add amla / gooseberry and saute for two to three mins.
Now add sugar and mix well.
Let them simmer amla / gooseberry in sugar being caramlised add roasted cumin seeds powder and garam masala powder.
Cook well till it gets thick.
Serve chilled.
