INGREDIENTS
Wheat flour - 2 cup
Yellow moong dal - 1/2 cup
Carom seeds - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Clarified butter - 4 tbsp
Oil - for frying
METHOD
Soak moong dal for two hours and grind to make a paste.
Take a mixing bowl add all moong dal paste,wheat flour flour,carom seeds,cumin seeds,salt and clarified butter / ghee.
Make a stiff dough with the help of little water.
Keep aside for fifteen mins.
Take a bowl add two tbsp clarified butter,2 tbsp all purpose flour and make a paste.
Divide the dough into four balls.
Roll the four balls into same size and spread the butter and all purpose flour paste in between.
Roll the chapatis and with the help of cutter cut the roll out chapaties in a kaju shape.
Press it and roll them.
Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry the namkin kaju on a low flame till golden brown.
Drain in paper napkin.
Serve hot with tea.
