SPROUT MOONG MASALA

Cooking Time : 30 mins
Serve : 2

INGREDIENTS
Sprout moong - 1 cup
Chopped onion - 1
Chopped tomato - 1
Chopped green chilly - 2
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp

METHOD
Heat oil in a pan,add cumin seeds and asafoetida and cumin seeds to crackle.
Add onion and saute till slightly brown,add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
Add tomato and saute 3 - 4 mins,add turmeric powder ,green chilly and 2 tbsp water and mix well.
Now add sprout moong and mix well,add two cup of water and salt and cover the lid and cook simmer for 20 mins
Add garam masala powder and lemon juice and mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
