RICE SPINACH ROLLS

Cooking Time : 25 mins
Serve : 4

INGREDIENTS
Basmati rice - 200 gm
Chana dal - 50 gm
Spinach - 250 gms
Cumin seeds -1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Water -as required
For stuffing
Grated carrot - 1
Boiled n mashed potato - 2
Green chilly - 1
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
METHODHeat oil in a pan add ginger garlic paste and saute for few mins ,now add carrot and saute for 2   - 4 mins,add boiled and mashed potato and mix well.
Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder,salt,garam masala powder and green chilly and mix well.
Cook for 3 - 4 mins and turn off the flame,now stuffing is ready
Heat water in a pan and add pinch of salt and spinach and after five mins strain it and make the puree of spinach.
 Wash and soak the rice and dal for 3 to 4 hours and grind it to make a fine paste.
 Mix cumin seeds, salt,coriander leaves and enough water for a thin batter and also add the spinach puree
 Now heat the 1 tsp oil in a non stick pan and spread  the mixture.
Cover it and cook for 1 - 2 seconds
 Flip when done on one side.
Stuff the filling and roll it and cut into two pieces
Serve hot with tomato ketchup
