SOHAN PAPPDI


Prep Time  : 10 mins
Cooking Time  : 25 mins
Serve : 6

INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour / maida   -  1 cup
Gram flour / besan  -  1 cup
Clarified butter / ghee  -  1 cup
Sugar   -  2 cup
Water  -  1/2 cup
Cardamom powder  -  1/4 tsp
Crushed almonds   -   2 tbsp

METHOD
Heat a pan add all purpose flour and gram flour dry roast on very low flame.
Add clarified butter and roast it for ten to fifteen mins.
After stiring further fifteen mins switch off the gas.
Heat sugar and water and make a sugar syrup.
When sugar syrup is done ( to check put a drop on flour n its became white that means its done)
Now switch off the gas n add gram flour and all purpose flour mixture.
Stir continuously and pour on a grease plate.
Garnish with crushed almonds.
When its hot n cut in pieces.
