CHEENA JHILLI ODIYA RECIPE


Prep Time : 25 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serve : 8

INGREDIENTS
Cheena - 250 gms
Sugar - 2 cup
Water - 1 cup
All purpose flour - 1 tsp
Suji - 1 tsp
Green cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Clarified butter - for frying

NETHOD
Take a bowl add cheena,all purpose flour,suji and mix well
,knead it tomake smooth dough.
Take the cheena dough and make walnut shaped ball.
Heat sugar and water in a pan and make one string consistency and add cardamom powder in it.
Now sugar syrup is ready.
Heat clarified butter in a pan and deep fry the walnut shaped cheena ball on a medium flame until dark brown and place deep into the sugar syrup for two hours
