LAHORI CHICKEN CURRY

Cooking Time : 25 mins
Serve : 2

INGREDIENTS
Chicken pieces - 500 gms
Chopped onion - 2 onion
Fried onion - 1 onion
Whole cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri mirch powder - 1/2 tsp
Tomato puree - 2 tbsp
Salt  - to taste
Oil - 4 tbsp

METHOD
Heat oil in a pan and fry the chopped onion and and strain it
Again heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds to crackle.
Add chopped onion and saute until transparent.
Add ginger garlic paste,red chilly powder,kashmiri mirch powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder and salt and mix well.
Now add chicken pieces and saute for 5 - 6 mins
Cover and cook for five mins.
Add tomato puree and mix well
Add fried onion and mix well and cook for five mins or until oil leaves the pan.
Add one cup of water and bring to boil.
Once boiled turn off the flame
Serve hot with rice or chapatis
