SEMOLINA / SUJI PAYESH




INGREDIENTS
Milk     -  1 ltr
Semolina / suji  -  1 /4 cup
Sugar  -  2 tbsp
Ghee   -  1 tsp
Cardamom powder  -   a pinch
Raisins     - 1 tsp
Crushed almonds   -   1 tsp

METHOD
Heat ghee in a pan.
Add semolina / suji and stir fry on low flame.
After they turn light brown switch off the gas.
Boil milk in a heavy bottom vessel.
Once boiled, keep in a low flame.
Add fried semolina / suji to the milk.
Stir in between for thickening the milk.
Cook well till it gets thick and semolina mix well in the milk.
Add sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.
Garnish with crushed almonds and raisins.
Serve it.
