INGREDIENTS
Bhindi / lady finger - 500 gms
Black mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Onion seeds / kalonji - 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida /hing - a pinch
Ginger paste - 2 tbsp
Fresh hang curd - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 4 tbsp
METHOD
Wash bhindi / lady finger properly.
Cut the edges of the bhindi / lady finger on both side.
Now cut them length wise from one side.
Deep fried the bhindi / lady finger in medium flame.
Drain and keep aside.
Again heat oil in a pan.
Add fennel seeds,black mustard seeds,onion seeds / kalonji,fenugreek seeds and hing / asafoetida to crackle.
Add ginger paste and saute for 1 - 2 mins.
In a bowl take 2 tbsp hang curd,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,salt and mix well.
Add this curd mixture in a pan.
After one mins add fried bhindi / lady finger an
d mix well.
After two minutes switch off the gas.
