INGREDIENTS
Cottage cheese / paneer cubes - 400 gms
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Sliced onion - 2 big size
Chopped green chilly - 2 - 3
Curd - 2 tbsp
Bay leaf - 1 - 2
Cumin seeds powder - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
Cloves - 2 - 3
Green cardamom - 2 - 3
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Cashew nuts - 3 - 4
Fresh cream - 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Clarified butter - 2 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
METHOD
Heat oil in a pan.
Add sliced onion,green chilly,ginger garlic paste, and stir fry till dark brown.
Switch off the gas.
Once cooled, to make a fine paste.
Heat clarified butter in a pan.
Add bay leaf,cashew nuts,cinnamon,cloves and cardamom and fry it.
Add coriander powder,cumin seeds powder,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,black pepper powder,salt and mix well.
Add fried onion paste and stir fry till oil leaves the pan.
Beat the curd and add it and also add half cup of water.
Cover it and cook for 2 - 3 mins in a low flame.
When it comes to boil add cottage cheese / paneer cubes,garam masala powder and fresh cream.
Cook for 2 - 3 mins.
Serve hot with chapatis.
