HARIYALI CHICKEN

Serve : 2

INGREDIENTS
Chicken pieces  -  500 gms
Coriander leaves  -  1 cup
Mint leaves  -  1/2 cup
Blanch spinach - 1 cup
Chopped tomato - 1
Cumin seeds  - 1/2 tsp
Sliced onion  - 1
Fried onion - 1
Ginger  - 1 inch stick
Garlic pods  - 4 - 5
Green chilly  - 10
Lemon juice -  2 tbsp
Cloves  -  2 - 3
Black pepper  - 3 - 4
Green cardamom  - 2
Black cardamom  -  1
Cinnamon  -  1 inch stick
Curd - 1/2 cup
Salt  -  to taste
Chopped tomato - 1
Oil  - 4 tbsp
Clarified butter  - 1 tbsp
Fresh cream - 2 tbsp


METHOD
Heat oil in a pan and fry the chopped onion until golden brown and take off the pan.
Wash and  marinate chicken with salt and lemon juice.
Keep aside for 2 hours
Grind together the fried onion coriander leaves,green chillyblanched spinach, mint leaves,ginger stick,garlic pods,cashew nuts and whole garam masala to make a paste.
Heat oil in a pan add marinated chicken fry and strain it,keep aside.
Again heat oil in a pan add sliced onion and fry until light pink now add thick curd and stir continuously until oil leaves the pan.
Add green paste and turmeric powder and  mix well.
Now add fried chicken pieces and mix well.
Add chopped tomato and cover it and cook in a slow flame for ten mins
Add clarified butter and mix well.
Add one cup of water and bring to boil now add fresh cream and mix well
Serve hot with rice or chapatis
