LAUKI KI MUTHIA

Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serve : 4

INGREDIENTS
Grated lauki - 2 cup
Suji - 1/4 cup
Besan - 1/4 cup
Wheat flour - 1/2 cup
Green chilly - 2 finely chopped
Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
Sugar - 2 tsp
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Finely chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Black mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Til/sesame seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 10 - 12
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste

METHOD
Take a bowl add wheat flour,suji,besan,ginger paste,chopped green chilly,grated lauki,turmeric powder,sugar,salt,baking soda,coriander leaves and mix well.
Make a stiff dough,keep aside for 15 mins.
Grease oil in a palm and make cylinderical  shape muthia and steam for 20 mins.
Once cooled cut into pieces.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add curry leaves,asafoetida,cumin seeds,black mustard seeds and sesame seeds to crackle.
Add lauki muthia.salt,lemon juice and green coriander leaves and mix well and cook for five mins.
Lauki muthia is ready to serve.
