INGREDIENTS
For tikki
Boiled n mashed potatoes - 2
Finely chopped green chilly - 1
Finely chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Bread crumbs - 2 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
For papri
All purpose flour - 1 cup
Clarified butter - 2 tbsp
Baking soda - a pinch
Salt - to taste
Oil - for frying
For chat
Boiled n sliced potato - 1 bowl
Boiled mator - 1 cup
Sweet hung curd - 1/2 bowl
Green chutney - 4 tbsp
Sweet tamarind / imli chutney
Chat masala powder - 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
0 size sev - 1/2 bowl
METHOD
For tikki
Take a large bowl add boiled n mashed potato,red chilly powder,ginger garlic paste,green chilly,coriander leaves,salt ,cumin seeds powder and bread crumbs and mix well.
Divide the dough into equal size balls.
Shape each ball to flat patties of medium thickness .
All the balls are made in the same way.
Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the the potatoes tikki in a medium flame
For papri
Take a large bowl add all purpose flour,clarified butter,salt and baking soda to get crumble texture.
Make a soft dough with little amount of water.
Keep aside for 15 mins.
Make four balls out of it.
Roll down ball to roti shape.
Cut round shape with the help of cap.
Preak it.
Heat oil and deep fry at low flame to light brown.
Fry all keep at side.
For chat
Take a serving plate place the tikki and add the crush papri.
Add two tbsp sweet hung curd.
At the top add green n sweet tamarind / imli chutney.
Sprinkle chat masala and salt..
Sprinkle 0 size sev, pomegranate seeds and serve immediately.
Enjoy with aloo tikki papri chat.
