SUJI PAYESH

 

Prep Time : 15 mins
Cooking Time : 25 mins
Serve : 4

INGREDIENTS
Milk     -  5 cup
 Suji  -  1 /4 cup
Sugar  -  2 tbsp
Clarified butter   -  1 tsp
Cardamom powder  -   a pinch
Raisins     - 1 tsp
Almonds   -   1 tbsp
Cherry - for garnishing

METHOD
Heat clarified butter in a pan.
Add  suji and stir fry on low flame.
After they turn light brown switch off the gas.
Boil milk in a heavy bottom vessel.
Once boiled, keep in a low flame.
Add fried  suji to the milk.
Stir in between for thickening the milk.
Cook well till it gets thick and suji mix well in the milk.
Add sugar,raisins and cardamom powder and mix well.
Garnish with  almonds and cherry serve hot.
