INGREDIENTS
Rice flour - 1cup
Warm water - 2 cup
Chana dal - 1 cup
Cumin seeds - a pinch
Catch turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Catch garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Clarified butter - 2 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Chopped green chilly - 2
Hing - 1/4 tsp
METHOD
Wash and soak chana dal for 4-5 hours.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker and cumin seeds to crackle add green chilly and saute for few seconds
Add chana dal, catch turmeric powder, ginger paste, catch garam masala powder and salt and one cup of water and steam it
. When cooker release the whistle turn off the flame,once cooled grind to make a paste.
Now stuffing is ready
Heat two cup of water and one tbsp clarified butter in a pan and bring to boil
Once boiled add the rice flour and salt and stir continuously until water absorb the rice flour
To make a soft dough
. Divide the dough into equal size balls.
Stuff the chana dal filling in the dough and roll out
Flatten the balls into thick round paratha
.Grease a pan with little clarified butter and heat on a medium flame.
Applying clarified butter on both the sides and cook on a medium flame
Serve hot with aloo baingan ki subji,curd and rasgulla.
Dal stuffed paratha is ready to eat.
Serve garma garam with subji.
