Bhindi - 250 gms
Onion - 1 cut in flakes
Finely chopped onion - 2
Finely chopped tomato - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Curd - 2 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 4 tbsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
METHOD
Wash and cut the bhindi into two parts and cut in slit,also chop the onion in flakes.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the bhindi and strain it and also fry the onion and strain it.
Again heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds and asafoetida to crackle,add onion and saute for few mins and now add the ginger garlic paste and mix well.
Add tomato and saute until tender.
Take a bowl add curd,coriander powder,red chilly powder,turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
Now add curd mixture into the pan and stir continuously they thick now add one cup of water and bring to boil ,once they boiled add the fried bhindi and onion and cover the lid and cook for five mins.
Turn off the flame,garnish with coriander leaves
