BESAN BURFI

Cooking Time : 30 m ins
Serve : 8

INGREDIENTS
Gram flour  - 2 cup
Sugar  - 1 cup
Clarified butter  -  1 cup
Water - 1/4 cup
Mawa - 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder - a pinch
Crushed almond  - 1 tbsp

METHOD
Heat clarified butter in a pan.
Add gram flour in a low flame,stir it continuously for 10 mins till it turns brown and gives out the fragrance add mawa and mix well
Heat sugar and water in a pan, keep it medium flame for 10 mins.
When it gets sticky it means syrup is ready.
Add roasted gram flour and cardamom powder in it,.mix well.
Grease the plate with oil and pour the thick consistency of roasted gram flour and spread in the plate.
Add chopped almond on the top.
Set half an hour in the freeze.
Cut into diamond shape and serve it.
