DHABA STYLE PANEER


Prep Time : 25 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serve : 2

INGREDIENTS
Paneer - 200 gms
Shredded paneer - 2 tbsp
Cloves - 2 - 3
Garlic cloves - 3 - 4
Ginger - 1 inch stick
Tomato - 1
Whole black pepper - 3 - 4
Green cardamom - 1
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
Onion paste - 2 onions
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Kashmiri red chilly - 1 tsp
Cashew nuts - 1 tbsp
Green chilly - 2
Salt - to taste
Sugar - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Butter - 100 gms

METHOD
Heat one cup water in a pan.
Add cashew nuts,cloves,ginger garlic,whole black pepper,cinnamon,cardamom and tomato.
Bring to boil,once boiled turn off the flame and make a paste.
Heat butter in a pan,add cumin seeds to crackle.
Add onion paste and saute for 4 - 5 mins
Add red chilly powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder,kashmiri mirch powder and mix it well.
Add cashew and tomato paste and saute until oil leaves the pan.
Add green chilly,salt and sugar and mix well.
Add one cup of water and bring to boil.
Once boiled add paneer cubes and shredded paneer and cook for 4 - 5 mins.
Serve with fried rice,salad and chapatis.
