INGREDIENTS
Cauliflower - 1 medium size
Onion paste - 1 onion
Cumin powder / jeera powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Mace /jabitri powder - a pinch
Cinnamon powder - a pinch
Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
Poppy seeds - 1 tbsp
Cashew nuts - 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Black pepper - 2
Green cardamom - 1
Fried onion paste - 1/2 cup
Curd - 1 tbsp
Cream - 1 tbsp
Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 1 cup
METHOD
Wash cauliflower and boil salted water in a thick bottom vessel for 5 mins.
Strain it.
Heat oil in a wok.
Add cauliflower and fry in hot oil until golden in color for both the side.
Again heat oil in a pan.
Add cardamom,pepper and onion paste n saute for 2 - 3 mins.
Add ginger garlic paste,cumin powder,turmeric powder,red chilly powder,coriander powder,cinnamon powder and mace / jabitri powder and add some water and mix well.
Blend the poppy seeds and cashew nuts to make a paste.
Add poppy seed paste.
Add fried onion paste and saute for one mins.
Add curd and tomato puree and mix well.
Add cream and salt.
Add garam masala and one cup of water.
Finally add gobi and cover it for five mins.
Serve hot with chapati.
