INGREDIENTS
Pointed gourd / parwal - 250 gms
Chopped onion - 1
Ginger,garlic paste - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Amchur powder - 1/2 tsp
Chopped green chilly - 1
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
METHOD
Wash and clean the pointed gourd /parwal.
Cut length wise.
Remove the edges of the pointed gourd / parwal and scrap the outer skin.
Cut the parwal into two half pieces.
Heat oil in a wok.
Add cumin seeds to crackle .
Add parwal n saute for 2 - 3 mins.
Now add ginger,garlic paste,red chilly powder,coriander powder and turmeric powder and mix well.
Cover the lid and cook on low flame for 5 mins.
Now add green chilly ,salt and amchur powder and mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with chapati and rice.
